Frequently Asked Questions

We run lessons 7 days a week, before and after school or work, during the day, after hours and on weekends (subject to availability). Our rates are the same no matter what time the lesson.

We are flexible in terms of where our lessons start and finish. We can come to you or organise a location of your convenience. We can start and finish in different locations if you like.

For those learners still at school, we can schedule lessons before school and then drop you off, or pick you up from school when school finishes. We can even schedule lessons in your free periods with the consent of your school!

Yes, Elevate Driving Academy has its own cars. Our cars are maintained to the highest quality and fully insured. However you don't have to use our cars. We are happy to instruct in your car, after an initial assessment.

Yes of course. Should you wish to take lessons in your own car, that is fine. The owner of the car will just need to sign a form that the car is fully insured. We sometimes encourage one lesson in the car you are going to spend the majority of time learning to drive in so we can assess for any difference between our car and yours. The owner of the car will need to complete a form prior to the lesson

Yes, we are accredited driving instructors with the RMS and can log 3 hours for every 1 hour of lessons up to the cap of 10 hours of lessons (30 hours logged). Once you reach your 10 hour limit, each hour after that will only count for 1 hour in your log book.

Yes, you can after the first lesson. The first lesson allows us to assess the level of skill and develop a plan. Following this lesson, if you have someone who will be helping to supervise the 120 hours driving required to sit your driver's test, we encourage you to bring them along to a lesson to understand how we teach and so everyone is on the same page with regard to the learners progress and to ask questions as required.

Our standard lesson booking is 1 hour, however we are happy to discuss shorter or longer lesson times, for example if you wish to have a lesson on highway driving. Our prices and packages are outlined on our Packages page. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to us if you would like to tailor a package to suit your needs or have any other questions about our pricing.

Yes we do. Please see our Test Day Package for details.

Adam is accredited to teach manual driving. Whilst manual cars are not as common these days, it is a skill that you will have for life. In Europe for example, many cars are still manual. We can teach in our manual car or yours.
